Americans are well known for the strange diets they always seem to be following．It seems that Americans like to diet almost as much as they like to eat．New types of diet plans are always coming out．Usually,though,they don't stay popular for long．

The director laughed,then wrote something on a card and handed it to the young man．"Come and see me tomorrow."

13、Japan bombed Pearl Harbor in 1941．The United States was mad at the Japanese so they made many Japanese-Americans leave their homes．They were put in camps with barbed wire around the outside of the camps.
